the Samsung Galaxy A14 has the "Modes and routines" function. You can open an app at a specific time OR in certain situations
I would like to use this function to send me the battery status by e-mail. I already have an app that I click on by hand once a day. But, that should happen automatically.
Problem: I have set the smartphone to turn off flight mode a few minutes before opening the app. In theory, that should be perfectly adequate. The problem is that no mail is sent. But I have another test app that emits a sound when opened. This app will be automatically opened at the set time by "Mode and Routines" and also play a sound. This Test-App works!
I therefore assume that the problem lies with the data transmission/network connection when the smartphone is in sleep mode/doze mode? The email is sent via MimeMessage, absolut basic code from some tutorials from the internet. Should work in theory, also works when I run the app manually, but not when I open the app on a timer basis via Mode and Routines.
Greetings
