I'm new here, and I apologize if I'm breaking any rules without realizing it. I tried some code that a friend provided from this stack overflow answer:
woocommerce backend dropdown product categories
But it doesn't work properly anymore with WooCommerce. While showing the drop-down menu, it doesn't show the categories:
