Note: Please before giving a negative point please first consider that this is new for someone like us and I have tried multiple things but failed so I have come here for the solution.

I want to generate a driving behavior score based on the OBD-II data. We are considering the total count of Overspeed, Harsh Acceleration, Harsh Deceleration, and Harsh Turning. We are also taking the Distance traveled into consideration for the equation. We have provided 25% weightage to each right now.

And we have calculated the driving score by following this formula:

I do not know that the value I am getting is correct and Driving behavior scores are generally like this.

I have tried many formulas only this one got me something precise.

Please check the Excel sheet, the formula inside, and the driving score.

If it is incorrect, please provide me with a proper logic or formula to generate the driving behavior score based on the parameters I use.

If anyone has implemented the driving behavior score, please provide me the reference or provide logic on which I can generate it.

  • Seems legit to me. – Robert Harvey Jul 13 '23 at 13:57
  • @RobertHarvey Just wanted to confirm are you sure it is legit and the scoring is proper in general? And do you have any other formula or logic for calculating the Driving behavior score based on my parameters? – El_Dorado Jul 14 '23 at 04:51
