WiFi speeds on DD-WRT router are slow compared to the standard rates. The current router is TP-Link TL-WDR4300v1 running the latest DD-WRT firmware (06/02/23 as of this moment) and the speeds I'm getting from 2.4 G are 30-43Mbps down & 40-56Mbps up and 5G are 60-79Mbps down & 45-65Mbps up. This router is rated at 300Mbps on 2.4G & 450Mbps on 5G and the current ISP plan is 1.2Gbps down and 200Mbps up.
Things I've done to remediate this issue without success:
I have been upgrading to the latest firmware since I flashed this router with DD-WRT.
Tried every possible combinations of configurations on both bands (did I miss any?!).
Router is about 8ft away and there are no obstructions.
Any help is much appreciated.
