I currently don't have access to home Wi-Fi, so I need to use my mobile phone as a hotspot to connect to the open internet. My phone is running Android 13. On Wi-Fi, it was very easy to configure a proxy server since this could be done through the specific Wi-Fi network's settings, and I was able to achieve my end goal of allowing myself to sniff and redirect HTTP packets from my phone using Fiddler Classic as a proxy and my home computer as the proxy server.

However, since my phone is connected via mobile data, this setting is no longer available and I have to find some alternative method to proxy connections.

I first tried some apps like Orbot and ProxyDroid (which I abandoned since it needed root access), however despite configuring everything correctly, I wasn't seeing any traffic from my phone in Fiddler.

Then I tried modifying APNs (I had to make a new APN and copy the settings from my old one since the old one didn't allow me to change my options), however I had the same result of just nothing different. Yes, I have verified that they are on the same network by accessing the Fiddler echo service on my phone. I just can't configure a proxy server.
