i have established a HFP connection between my mobile device and windows but for phone call audio over pc i need a SCO connection as well i am reading this docs given by microsoft https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/bluetooth/creating-a-sco-client-connection-to-a-remote-device but i am not able to understand it.

current i am making an app like phone link to make calls from windows and macos over bluetooth

  • Are you writing the driver yourself? Because not all BT stacks may expose everything what you need for pretending a PC being a headset. In the past WIDCOMM was one of them, but I don't know if they're still relevant. – tevemadar Apr 24 '23 at 09:00
  • @tevemadar i have no experience with writing a driver i was only reading the docs after knowing that i need a sco connection to use my pc as a headset if you some resources from which i can get some idea how to achieve this it would be a great help – Aryaveer Chaudhary Apr 24 '23 at 09:08
  • You may want to see what exists already, https://superuser.com/questions/58632/can-i-use-my-pc-as-a-bluetooth-headset-for-my-mobile-phone and its "Linked" and "Related" questions (on the right side) may lead somewhere. – tevemadar Apr 24 '23 at 09:48
