In the Autodesk viewer, I get range selection mode while holding Ctrl on the PC, how do I programmatically get the iPad into that mode?

In the Autodesk viewer, as shown in the video below, the cursor changes to a plus sign while Ctrl is held down on the PC, and the viewer goes into range selection mode.

I would like to achieve this on the iPad. However, the iPad does not have a Ctrl button, so we need to use some other method to get into this range selection mode. First of all, is there a method in the Autodesk Viewer API to call this range selection mode?
