I haven't been able to find any articles on if there is a way to use some kind of API to import the current listings of a Yahoo Auction account, to display the available products on a Wordpress website.

Right now, once a week, I crop a handful of the Yahoo Auction listing main photos and update a carousel in a lower section of the clien't homepage. I don't want to re-create the listings using Woocommerce because they only sell their live plants on Yahoo auctions, while we do use Woocommerce for dropshipping branded merchandise.

Does anyone know of a way to integrate the Yahoo Auctions listings, so that they can be shown on Wordpress page and they would be dynamically updated, as the listings change on Yahoo? The idea is to not have to updated the website carousel all of the time. I would be great to be able to call the current Yahoo Auction listings and display them in a carousel or grid gallery...

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Website is hanauchu.co.jp [wordpress 6.1.1, elementor v3.11.5, using weglot for multilingual text]

Checked the Wordpress plugin repository, Google, can't seem to find anyone doing it- but then I'm googling in English and Yahoo Auctions is based in Japan. So, if someone has done it, they may have written about it in Japanese.

  • I noticed this listing during a search in Japanese. However, I'm not sure if this is the solution I'm after. The images seem to show a backend WP dashboard and some code to call a search within the Yahoo platform? It doesn't show any screenshots of what this would result in on the frontend. It's all in Japanese, but if you're familiar with WP dashboard and the code, you may understand it fine. https://etba.ofesswaskil.cyou/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=32272 – Victoria Mar 29 '23 at 02:03
