When I tried to download easy ocr in my python project, but I am receiving this error. Does anyone know how to fix this?

You almost certainly need to upgrade your version of Python. Please edit your Python version into your question so we can know for sure. – Jeff Bowman Mar 22 '23 at 06:09
  • Packages can choose which Python version they want to distribute to. OP, if your Python is too old, it is probably the cause. – Minh-Long Luu Mar 22 '23 at 06:12
  • I am on the latest version of python. Python 11 – derekbailinkedin Mar 22 '23 at 18:37
  • Likewise on Python 11 and latest numpy is 1.24.2 but easyocr insists 1.21.2 which pip complains does not even exist. – Bernd Wechner Apr 03 '23 at 23:41
  • Here's what pip says: `ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement numpy==1.21.2 (from versions: ..., 1.21.0, 1.21.1, 1.22.0, ...)` (compress the huge list of versions to fit as a comment here). – Bernd Wechner Apr 03 '23 at 23:42
