How can we use https://github.com/sarunya/soft-assert with Cypress Cucumber BDD Framework

The SoftAssert works fine with Mocha based Describe.. it framework using Cypress. However, I need the configuration steps to use SoftAssert with Cypress Cucumber BDD Framework.
