I am trying to support a legacy application that uses Wise Installer.

The installer needs to run in some foreign countries, eg, Bulgaria.

Windows 10 System is properly setup for the Bulgarian Locale.

Using the Wise Wizard Dialog users are allowed to enter text. There are 3 fields that the user must fill in during the install process.

Unfortunately, the entered text is a mishmash of incorrect chars and ? marks.

I am hoping someone has been in a similar situation, needing to enter extended characters into Wise Text fields.

Obviously Wise is super old and doesn't support Unicode, any suggestions for a workaround?

Thank you,

sse

As it stands your question is vague, asking for _"advice"_ and _"suggestions"_, and it is inviting recommendations, but SO is not a help forum. Can you reframe your question so that it is on topic by asking about a _specific_ problem, with full details about that problem? See [What topics can I ask about here?](https://stackoverflow.com/help/on-topic) for more information. – skomisa Mar 07 '23 at 17:03
