Does anyone know where I can obtain the latest webalizer-geodb-latest.tgz file which contains the latest GeoDB.dat database used by webalizer?
It looks like I can get updated Maxmind .dat files from https://www.miyuru.lk/geoiplegacy, but I'm not sure if that format will work properly with Webalizer. The latest GeoDB.dat file I have is from February 28, 2021, and is 12.3 MB in size (https://github.com/earnolmartin/EHCP-Force-Edition/raw/master/ehcp/fixes/webalizer/webalizer-geodb-latest.tgz), but the ones from miyuru seem to be smaller in size even though they're more up-to-date which leads me to wonder if the webalizer GeoDB.dat database is different from the standard Maxmind ones.
Edit, miyuru's versions do not work when running webalizer:
BDB0178 Encrypted database: no encryption flag specified
BDB0210 /usr/share/GeoIP2/GeoDB.dat: metadata page checksum error
Does anyone know? Before, you could get the latest from ftp://ftp.mrunix.net/pub/webalizer/webalizer-geodb-latest.tgz but mrunix.net has been offline for years now.
