I want display and print a special unicode character in LibreOffice.
Initially, Libreoffice can't display this character. I install the font package, and run fontconfig. Libreoffice can now display correctly the character. But I can't display correctly the character in the exported pdf, with pdf viewver evince and okular, even after restart the system. I guess I should configure pdf viewver to find the font.
When I print the pdf with lp, the character isn't display also in the printed paper. The cups manual https://openprinting.github.io/cups/doc/man-cups-files.conf.html says CUPS use fontconfig to find font. So CUPS should find the font without needing configure it,because fontconfig know where it has installed the fonts.
Why Libreoffice can find font, and CUPS no? How I can make CUPS print correctly this character?
