When i download STS 4.17 from the spring tools site, the digital certificate is outdated and so beyond trust is blocking from launching the app. Is there something we can do about it ? Below is the image i have about the certificates

Opening up sring boot and there is a beyond trust blocked popup because of a digital certificate on the SpringToolSuite4.exe file which is expired in the past.

  • It would be interesting to know which exact component the dialog complains about. We have a much newer cert in place, so would be good to know which exact component is having this outdated cert in your case. – Martin Lippert Feb 14 '23 at 13:23
