In Split View, how can we enter a video's full screen mode such that:

  1. it takes up only the width of its specific side of the screen

  2. we do not get redirected to a whole new screen that has the video playing in the regular full screen mode that literally takes up the entire width of the computer screen

  3. the video playing is the only thing that is not visibly black on its side of the screen

  4. the video playing is centered on its side of the screen

Is there a command that we can enter in the terminal to achieve these requirements?

After entering Split View by hovering to the upper left green circle and clicking "Tile Window to Left of Screen", I selected another window to be on the right side of the screen and tried entering full screen of the playing video on the left. This resulted in being redirected to another screen with the video taking up the entire screen.

A few weeks ago, I had my MacBook Pro repaired. Upon getting it back, it lost its ability to "play videos in full screen on half the screen". I do not remember whether I had previously achieved this by changing a certain System Settings option, or with a command in the terminal, or having done nothing (meaning that the computer came with the ability to have a video playing "full screen" on one side of the Split View).
