We have been using Apache Spark jobs launched via Apache Livy for running some jobs. Because of the reduced scale requirements, we no longer need to use Spark. I am looking for a general-purpose lightweight JAVA job scheduler with the ability to track and cancel jobs.
Quartz seems to be one candidate. Are there any better alternatives?
