I'm doing a project were I want to plug in a custom board with a Nordic on an internal M.2 B Key connector, to communicate via serial port with the computer where I'll run the connectivity scripts and database.
The computer is running Ubuntu server 22.04
I have an evaluation board to test, but I plug it on the M.2 connector and the computer doesn't recognize the USB interface as a Serial device, but instead defines the whole board as a block.
What can I do to detect the USB interface on the M.2 connector as a Serial device? I appreciate any pointers in the right direction.
