Can I make an InputView in light mode transparent, like in dark mode?

I'm using a UIPickerView as InputView and in dark mode it has transparency (low alpha?), but in light mode it's just plain grey. Is it possible to make the background transparent in light mode as well?

Setting a backgroundColor for the inputView works fine, but setting the colors alpha just makes it show the grey area behind the color.

Make sure your input view class extends `UIInputView`, same with your input accessory view. – HangarRash Jan 12 '23 at 22:34
