Working across the home (R version4.1.0, Mac OS X intel i0) and work (R version 4.2.1, Apple M1) computers, I find that I have to reinitialize the project renv::init() followed by option 2 to re-initialize the lock file. Otherwise, the code doesn't work. Somehow, reinitializing the lock file every time I work on a different system seems wrong? What are other options? Can I instead install an R 4.2.1 on my home system in addition to R v4.1.0?
