I need to use my sony alpha 7 camera with a dummy battery. If the power button on the camera is set to ON and I switch off and on the dummy battery, the pc recongnized the camera in charging mode and I can't control it. Only by re-plugged the usb-c cable the usb connection is restored. I try to reset the usb bus using some cli like usb-reset, but it didn't work. I see in some forum that one way is to use a powered usb hub and do a power cycle of it.
I just set the camera usb option to: usb mode: PC Remote control Usb power: off Usb Lun: single
I'm using the rapsberry pi4 as Pc.
But I was wondering if there is possible to restore the connection mode of the camera without a usb hub.
