I have an Android TV app that is subscription based I am trying to submit to Google Play through the publishing console.
The flow is this:
Free app downloaded -> checks for subscription
If subscribed -> see content.
If not subscribed -> see splash page stating not subscribed -> press subscribe button -> pick subscription length -> go through google play billing flow
There is no other login required/offered.
I have provided Google account credentials for an account that has an active subscription with no 2 factor authentication turned on.
I’ve tested on several Chromecast devices that I can log in with this account and then download the app through a testing track and instantly access content.
However, I keep getting rejected saying they can not access the content with the credentials provided.
Has anyone else hit this roadblock? Am I not doing something right here? It’s frustrating.
