I'd like to sync an online file so that becomes available offline. This wasn't an issue before the recent change to dropbox, since the apps would interact via the file system to sync with the latest copy.
I haven't found a relevant topic in the forums, though this one is close- but in my case the local file is an empty placeholder with appropriate extended attributes.
