I have this problem: no matter what I try to install into the system using checkinstall, during installation process I get an error message that says "cp: cannot stat '//var/tmp/tmp.xxxxxxxxxx/newfiles.tmp': No such file or directory". The installation ends up successfully, but the libraries can't be found during build time. On the screenshots there are system and checkinstall versions and openssl install try.

I tried to use checkinstall on Ubuntu 22.04 and Ubuntu 18.04 but I got the same result.
