I want to publish a Storyline file to SCORM package and add LRS endpoint inside it before publishing to collect learner's activity. Then I upload a package to different environments (like dev - you know, for testing, and production environment). The problem is that the data is the same for dev and prod env, I don't know which is from dev, and which is from prod.

My question is: Do we know the domain/sourceURL the statement comes from, based on which field on xapi-statements without the different LRS endpoint? Or any idea about it

Please help me with this. Thanks in advance

Another considered option is to mark the environment in the name of the published file, but I think it's so complicated, we have to publish 2 packages for the same content for testing only.

There is nothing in the statement data automatically that would give you this. The content could include it via context or something similar but it would be custom to the content. But even if it did hard coding endpoint and credential into a SCORM package to allow it to communicate with an LRS is a security issue and generally shouldn't be done. Re-publishing as xAPI native would be better, preferably as cmi5, though Storyline may not yet support that as an option. – Brian J. Miller Dec 05 '22 at 14:53
