Problem statement: We are developing PWA (Progressive Web App), it can be installed via browser. #1: For Android device (specially OnePlus), when it is installed it creates app icon with small browser icon with it. #2: I tried to install it via Chrome and Firefox browsers. And it has different shape i.e. Chrome follows square and firefox follows circle based. I would like to understand that any rule(s)/guidelines I need to follow to fix it.

I've never made a PWA, but google's docs show the icon is a .png file, specified in app's `manifest.json`. Have you tried using transparency to make a circle or other shape? – ToolmakerSteve Nov 21 '22 at 19:47
