There are tons of answers and question related to this on stackoverflow but google nearly deprecated all of the methods described. Turning screen off is easy but it seems turning it on is where google takes serious precautions. By turning on the screen I mean the activity will be visible it won't show the unlock screen. (Assume locking isn't enabled) How can I achieve this in 2022 without using deprecated APIs and rooting devices?
