I don't consider this a duplicate of Google Books API not returning the same as displayed on browser (Flutter) since the question hasn't really been answered there either.
While trying to get information about available volumes of a series of books I noticed that the Google books API and the website have different results.
For example when searching for the following volume on the website the correct book is shown as the first result:
But when using the API the volume isn't even in the result set at all:
https://www.googleapis.com/books/v1/volumes?q=君に紡ぐ傍白3
Is there a trick to receiving the same results as on the website? Or is the API so fundamentally different that the result can't match?
Are there alternatives that are as good as Google when it comes to finding books by name and volume?
