Is it possible to test all possible variants of problems that may arise on smart devices using the HomeKit Accessory Simulator

Question

I want to begin to develop an app using HomeKit, but I don’t have any real smart devices. Am I can test all possible variations of problems that can occur on real devices, such as wi-fi, and Bluetooth connections or some others( I don't have experience with that and don't imagine what can happen ), will enough for testing HomeKit Accessory Simulator, or need to have at least one real, please share your experience and opinions
