I detached git from VS Code accidentally.

But there were a lot of new files on local and I didn't push them. Then I lost all of them and only got the last version I pushed on Git. Is there a way to recover the lost files? Really appreciate.

  • Unless the files were stashed for you, those files are gone as far as git is concerned. You'll have to fall back to checking OS backups if any. – Jeff Mercado Oct 02 '22 at 02:28
