I'm trying to install Docker on my Raspberry Pi:

For that I am using the following commands:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
curl -fsSL https://get.docker.com -o get-docker.sh
sudo sh get-docker.sh

But when I run the third command, I got:

I already remove all the docker packages since when I run dpkg -l | grep -i docker I don't see any package and when I run docker -version I see sudo: docker: command not found.

What I am missing here?

    Try running `type docker` and `sudo type docker` to see why the installation scripts thinks it's already installed. – Mark Setchell Jul 09 '22 at 10:13
  • running type docker I got: docker is hashed (/usr/local/bin/docker) – tech_data Jul 09 '22 at 10:14

    That means that if you run `docker`, your shell will actually try to run `/usr/local/bin/docker` so you have either omitted to remove that, or you have not rehashed your shell with `hash -r`. – Mark Setchell Jul 09 '22 at 10:18
  • I already run hash -r /usr/local/bin/docker and when I run "type docker" I already see "bash: type: docker: not found". But when I run sudo sh get-docker.sh I still got the "E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages." but now without the previous Warning: the "docker" command appears to already exist on this system. – tech_data Jul 09 '22 at 10:48
