Unreachable target error for Pedestrian agents

Question

I'm working with the pedestrian library to create an agent-based simulation. When I run the model, I randomly get the bellow error for some simulation runs or random agents. Has anyone faced this issue before?

This happens if there is an unaccessible point in the node such as a column or wall.

But aren't the Pedestrians supposed to go around the walls? How can I fix the issue? Thanks. – user16201834 Jun 11 '21 at 20:57
Yes, but AnyLogic picks a random point within the node. That point might fall within the column you placed. – Emile Zankoul Jun 11 '21 at 22:12
To resolve this problem you should draw your polygonal area around a column, this way the pedestrian won’t be sent “inside” it. – Emile Zankoul Jun 11 '21 at 22:13
