I've managed to install a mulit-node microstack on google cloud. But now I'm struggling to access the instances I created.

I figured out it was a network problem but despite my effort I didn't fix the issue.

So basically I have a node controller and a compute node as follow:

result of openstack hypervisor list

I've setup my personal external network as follow :

topology of the network

I followed this tutorial : following this tutorial https://connection.rnascimento.com/2021/03/08/openstack-single-node-microstack/

The instance is deployed on default AZ (nova).

Does anyone have a hint about what's wrong ?

I'm kinda lost right now I appraciate any kind of help

Regards,

Lucas

  • As far as I've understood, you installed a multi-node microstack on a VM instance in GCP. Then, I asume this VM is the host of the instances you've created. I will need more information on how is your setup configured, the steps you've taken so far to try to access the instances and why you intuit the problem is on the network's behalf. I will share the [microstack multi-node step by step installation guide](https://microstack.run/docs/multi-node) to see if this can provide you some insights on your issue. – Nahuel Apr 12 '21 at 14:22
