I am facing trouble with Microstack CLI.I did install Microstack twice for the same reason. In the beginning, every command works but after a certain period while working it starts to through the underneath error for each command: The request you have made requires authentication. (HTTP 401) (Request-ID: req-fe7ba922-3898-49f8-9441-0624e3b1d241)

Besides,I would like to know how to change the admin password of the Microstack (Ussuri)?

I really need to have the solution. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot

  • Can you provide the complete error message? One possibility: Keystone has stopped or otherwise ceased functioning. When you get these messages, check access to Keystone by accessing the AUTH_URL with curl (I don't know at which URL Microstack deploys Keystone). – berndbausch Dec 02 '20 at 06:11
  • Hi Berndbausch, Thanks for your reply. It got solved after restarting the Microstack. Also, changed the password and it threw the same error again. Then I found one solution to change the microstack.rc file with admin rc file. It works but then I need to enter password for every command. Any idea on that? – Sabbir Ahmed Dec 02 '20 at 11:20
  • Your comment is a bit unclear. You say you solved the problem, but the problem is still there? So, did you solve it or not? How did you change the password? Do admin.rc and microstack.rc contain the correct password? – berndbausch Dec 07 '20 at 11:28
