Jaxb2-maven-plugin Error java11 schema_reference

Question

I have an error when running the jaxb2-maven-plugin (2.5.0) with JDK11.

pom.xml :

If I put a wrong source path in the pom.xml it fails, so I can assume that it finds the correct .xsd file. I don't understand the schema_reference, where does it come from.

For info my .xsd looks like : (he's located on another project)

try to put reference to basedir like so:

   <source>${project.basedir}/src/main/resources/your_folder/your_xsd.xsd</source>
</sources>
..
