I'm new to Mockito and PowerMockito. I have a test case which needs to wait for some time until one mocked method is invoked. So I followed this question and tried to use Mockito time verification to verify the method invocation. But I only use TestNG, but not Junit in my project. Therefore this test case fails with the following exception.

To resolve this issue, as per the answers in this question,we need to add the JUnit into our project as a dependency.

This is my test case after adding the JUnit dependency and it works fine. It takes some time to hit the actual method, methodToTest(). That's why I need to wait some time until it's get invoked.

public void testCase() {
     ......
     Mockito.verify(mock, Mockito.timeout(50000).times(1)).methodToTest();
}

Are there any way to do this method invoke verification withot adding the JUnit into my project?

Any help is highly appreciated.
