How i can add ButterKnife Locally (No remote dependencies)

Question

I have downloaded 'butterknife-8.8.1.aar' , 'butterknife-annotations-8.8.1.jar' and 'butterknife-compiler-8.8.1.jar' and added to the project. When i launch the app, i get NullPointer Exception for the view.

If you add it in the gradle correctly and build then the app it should add butterknife to your app automatically. There is no need for manual downloads.

only this should do the job:

dependencies {
 implementation 'com.jakewharton:butterknife-gradle-plugin:10.1.0'
}

For ButterKnife to work we need to add three modules:

butterknife-annotations
butterknife-reflect

butterknife-runtime

 implementation project(':butterknife-annotations')
 implementation project(':butterknife-reflect')
 implementation project(':butterknife-runtime')
