I am using Jenkins in Master Slave configuration using Docker. one of the job is working perfectly on master but upon shifting it to slave it is unable to display file names which contains French characters.
i.e.
cd /required-directory/
ls -lrt
-rw-r--r--. 1 1000 1000 948 Oct 13 12:14 maranh��o.png
When I trigger the same steps on jenkins slave container through putty i.e. by doing SSH inside the container and triggering same command manually, i am getting the following response
-rw-r--r--. 1 1000 1000 948 Oct 13 12:14 maranhão.png
Because Jenkins is unable to identify the files which contains french characters the jobs is getting failed.
