I tried to run this simple code, which is about GUI programming in python usinh Python GTK+ 3:
import gi
gi.require_version('Gtk', '3.0')
from gi.repository import Gtk
win = Gtk.Window()
win.connect("destroy", Gtk.main_quit)
win.show_all()
Gtk.main()
I have anaconda 5.2 installed with Python 3.6 under Windows 10, and I get this error:
import gi
ImportError: No module named 'gi'
Even if I install anaconda 4.2 with Python 3.5 I get the same error.
I could not figure out how to install gi
, which is apparently part of PyGObject
.
using pip install PyGObject
results in an error:
Failed building wheel for PyGObject
Can anybody help?
