Question

this is in continuation of my previous post

I have taken the suggestion given in the previous post and worked on it, I did not want to update my problem description there or else it would have caused a confusion with the answers provided by people there.

I have a user object, and the User is having a field DOB (Date of Birth) I have stored that field as a calendar inside the User BO.

Something like this:

        this.dateOfBirth = dateOfBirth;

}

Now I need to display this field as a Date field in thymeleaf and not a text field. I need a date field since I like the date picker :)

This is what I have so far

With the suggestions provided in the previous post, I did the changes as above but now I get the below error

Please provide the code for the controller which sets the data required for the template. From the exception it looks like you haven't set `user` in the `Model` — MohamedSanaulla, Nov 15 '17 at 07:48
i dont think thats an issue, if I would not have set user in the model, then the exception would have been "Neither BindingResult nor plain target object for bean name 'user' available as request attribute but the exception states "#dates".. will update the code with controller now — user641887, Nov 15 '17 at 08:04
Try `*{}` for `th:field` and you need to set `th:object="${user}"` in your `

I already have th:object=${user} set in my form. I am not sure what u mean by *{...} in the th:field ? Can u explain ? — user641887, Nov 15 '17 at 08:49
