I want to develop an app in Android API 23 (Marshmallow) but i don't know why my app keep crashing when I run on device or emulator. I don't get any compile error so far.

At first, i think the problem is on the dependencies and gradle configuration, but I have tried changing dependencies but it makes more error when compiling or gradle error. When i tried to change my buildToolsVersion to 23, I got so many error like srcCompat and other.

Can anyone point out where have i got the wrong configuration or code? Thanks, btw.

this is my LoginActivity.java

You need to read logcat output - the failure reason is mentioned there.

In case you have problem in investigating logcat output - you should post it here. It is more valuable for understanding what went wrong, more than source code you've posted.

Your SDK version is wrongly written. Using such 23.0.+ for any SDk is not recommended as Android Studio will keep downloading any new version of the SDK and in some cases will brings you errors during runtime. The lastest version for API 23 is 23.5.1 .
