I am trying to delete a file from an Autodesk A360 project, and I keep getting an error saying that the file is in use. It shows a red dot under the thumbnail, along with the text "In use by Matthew Matthew". Matthew Matthew is my username, but I am not using the file. How do I "un-use" the file so I can delete it? I don't have it open in Fusion.

All help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

  • Yeah did you check [this](https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-remove-the-in-use-by-flag-from-copied-Fusion-360-design-in-Data-Panel-thumbnail-information.html)? Also, do you have another session with the same name? – neeh Sep 13 '17 at 20:27
  • That looks similar to my problem, but when I try and open it to close it again, I get an error saying that the file is currently being saved by (my username) and it asks me if I want to open a previous version of the file. – Matthew Sep 13 '17 at 20:58
