I am using Redisson to store a map in redis.

Spring config:

@Bean(destroyMethod = "shutdown")
    public RedissonClient getRedissonClient() {
    Config redisCofig = new Config();
    redisCofig.useSingleServer().setAddress(redisUrl);
    RedissonClient redissonClient = Redisson.create(redisCofig);
    return redissonClient;
}

I am getting exception in the following code

redObjBucket.get()

RBucket<ConcurrentHashMap<String, ConcurrentHashMap<Integer, Set<TokenInfo>>>> redObjBucket = redissonClient
        .getBucket("obj");
ConcurrentHashMap<String, ConcurrentHashMap<Integer, Set<TokenInfo>>> redObj= redObjBucket.get();

The error is:

 org.redisson.client.RedisException: Unexpected exception while processing command

I debugged the redis code and found that in CommandAsycService get(RFuture<V> future) Method,

if (future.isSuccess()) {
            return future.getNow();
    }

is false.

The same code is working in POC project. There, future.isSuccess() is true

Am I missing anything?

P.S : I tried changing the codec with no results.

  • Try by doing these steps: 1) Delete redis DAT files from C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Local\Redis\ 2) open redis.cli and perform **FLUSHALL** – Akansha Srivastava Jul 04 '18 at 12:10

I think there might be a key conflict in the Redis. It is possible you the key (obj) already exists and the content format doesn't match with the defined codec in Redisson.

Can you delete the obj key in Redis and try it again?

redisson use JsonJacksonCodec default,it should use StringCodec compatible data write by other client, eg:jedis; 

Config redisConfig = new Config();
redisConfig.setCodec(new StringCodec()).useSingleServer().setAddress(redisUrl);
