I am trying to run the following command for my Android app:

"ffmpeg -i /full/path.video.mp4 -ignore_loop 0 -i myGif.gif -filter_complex \"[0][1]overlay=0:H-100\" /full/path/videoWithGifOverlay.mp4"

but I am getting am getting an error.

    It appears that your output file is named `ffmpeg -i /full/path/video.mp4 -ignore_loop 0 -i myGif.gif -filter_complex "[0][1]overlay=0:H-100" /full/path/videoWithGifOverlay.mp4` instead of `videoWithGifOverlay.mp4`. Probably the typical, common Android quoting issue. – llogan Apr 16 '17 at 21:44

if you take a look at the FFmpeg android sample, you will see that they are separating every " "(space) , so instead of passing an integrated string command you should do something like this:

String[] commands = new String[10];
commands[0] ="-i";
commands[1] = "/full/path.video.mp4";

......

i have similar problem. i applied ffmpeg to decode a h264 file:

ffmpeg -hide_banner -vsync 0 -i .\h264\test_hp_cbr16_20M.h264 -pix_fmt yuv420p -y rec.yuv [h264 @ 000001ad31d8ae80] Could not find codec parameters for stream 0 (Video: h264, none): unspecified size Consider increasing the value for the 'analyzeduration' and 'probesize' options Input #0, h264, from '.\h264\test_hp_cbr16_20M.h264': Duration: N/A, bitrate: N/A Stream #0:0: Video: h264, none, 25 tbr, 1200k tbn, 50 tbc Output #0, rawvideo, to 'rec.yuv': Output file #0 does not contain any stream

The reason for "Output file #0 does not contain any stream" - the input file is empty (the filesize is 0)
