Alright, I know this question is too common but I had doing a lot of searching how to fix it but I still couldn't found a solution.

So, my problems is I am trying to login my wamp server phpmyadmin, when I try to login to phpmyadmin it shows me a message said that "Cannot log in to the MySQL server". I can 100% sure that I didn't change any username and password since the day I downloaded wamp server. And the username and password should be the default, which is username: root and password: null (I leave it blank).

What I'm trying to do is I don't wanna change the username and password I just want to find my old username and password I mean where can I find my username and password? Under which file?

This is my config.inc.php file. Why there is no username and password show up? enter image description here

  • Then use `root` as the username and leave the password `blank`. This is pretty much a standard MYSQL install and that is how MYSQL is normally installed – RiggsFolly Apr 07 '17 at 10:27
