Perisistence Exception : No Persistence provider for EntityManager named defaultPersistenceUnit

Question

I am new to PLAY framework. I keep getting this error. I don't seem to find any problem with the code though. Please help me out.

conf/META-INF/persistence.xml:

    <persistence-unit name="defaultPersistenceUnit" transaction-type="RESOURCE_LOCAL">

my application.conf:

db.default.driver=org.h2.Driver
db.default.url="jdbc:h2:mem:play"
db.default.jndiName=DefaultDS
jpa.default=defaultPersistenceUnit
ebean.default="model.*" // cuz my folder is model and not models.

my call for entitymanager:

  EntityManagerFactory emf = Persistence.createEntityManagerFactory("defaultPersistenceUnit");

Please help me out!
