How to fix "Setting an expiry date or a maximum age in the HTTP headers"

Question

I am using Ftp When I run my website on page speed tools, it gives me the following message "Setting an expiry date or a maximum age in the HTTP headers for static resources instructs the browser to load previously downloaded resources from local disk rather than over the network." How Can I fix this ?

<meta http-equiv="Expires" content="30"> Where it will expires in 30 days.If your contents are updating daily,then you can set it to 1.It always checks daily for any updation.
