Standard full cover photo size for Facebook is 851 pixels wide and 315 pixels tall.

Here are the dimensions for a Facebook timeline:

  • Can you post a screenshot of the output in mobile and web? – Marjorie Apr 29 '16 at 08:07
  • I want to post https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BycOLWr5R3b1WjhQc19fY210TXc/view This image as fb cover. with good look in mobile as well in web. Currently Facbook cut image from left and right side when open in mobile. – Nilesh Apr 29 '16 at 08:15
  • Ahh I see. Well, that's because Facebook maintains the photo's quality by cropping it to fit in the smartphone's screen. It does not squeeze nor stretch the image to have it fit. This is a standard for Facebook and you won't be able to change it :) You could reposition the image so as to have it focus on the area you wish the viewers to see (important section of the image). – Marjorie Apr 29 '16 at 09:47

  • Changing position in mobile does not affect how it will look in web mode :) – Marjorie May 01 '16 at 22:48
