maven project is not getting work in right way

Question

I have pom.xml file

with this I want to work with SseEmitter class from _ import org.springframework.web.servlet.mvc.method.annotation.SseEmitter_ but cannot find the class then I change the pom.xml to

I get the SseEmitter class but I get weird error saying

my app does not work, any option there to get rid of this.

Did you tried `clean build` from IDE/Eclipse or from command line? If from IDE, try from command line, or at least make it working from command line (solve dependencies, etc). If that working, now the problem is your eclipse. Try to right click on your project from `project explorer` -> `maven..` -> `Update Project... ` -> Uncheck `Clean Project` -> Ok. — xsalefter, Apr 23 '16 at 14:54

@Transactional is part of the Spring transaction API. You're mixing two different versions of Spring together, which is bound to lead to problems. Decide on using version 4.0.4.RELEASE or 4.2.5.RELEASE, but not both.

Try adding the following dependency to your POM:

your application is SPRING web application and you are using Spring's transaction handling mechanism that is @org.springframework.transaction.annotation.Transactional, then don't mix it with javax.transaction.Transactional.

That is Always use, @org.springframework.transaction.annotation.Transactional in a spring application consistently.

Use this
