How to add a toolbar in the bottom of the screen?

Question

I'm new here. I need your help because I don't know some thing. For example, I put a toolbar for my app and not an action bar in the top of the screen...now I want to put a toolbar in the bottom...so how could I do it? Toolbar is the correct way, and it is compatible with android 4.0+? Thank you for your answers.

EDIT: this is the code of mainactivity.xml which shows the toolbar in the top of the screen:

I'm thinking it is possible for android 4.4 and 5.
