Penetration test for J2EE web application

Question

I have a J2EE web application, and would like to conduct penetration test. I got couple of tools by goggling, but looking for some experts opinion on free/paid penetration tools. If anybody has done penetration test , please tell me your experience and suggestions. Thanks in Advance.
